Richard, very nice assimilation of very news sources into a good solid story. I have been passing copies of the link to that Press Democrat article to a lot of people. If you think about the lack of real action not taken after the paper published by Rob McMillian of the Silicon Valley Bank (2009-2010 State of the Wine Industry) is it any surprise that we are now reading about the possible demise of some truly wonderful small wineries? Yesterday I read that a CA wineries was one step away from foreclosure. As I wrote not long ago, its like trying to catch a wave while surfing...you better start paddling now if you hope to avoid getting wiped out. As you have already stated (my repeating the same mantra is a vain hope to reach a few), using social media is only 1 TOOL in what should be an arsenal of marketing weapons that "work together". Hopefully we are not too far from being able to help at least a few.

Again...Richard...great article!
